We have never run a single advertising campaign about our business because we have been busy enough just by word of mouth. Simply means that you and your design staff can change Provident by simply changing HTML tags, colors, images, etc. With a reasonable level of HTML knowledge, you can modify the appearance and interfaces of Provident to reflect the color and personality of your business.
• Accessible Source
Means that you have access to the source code and the data model. This allows you to analyze an unlimited variety of data, and to implement new initiatives as you see fit. Of course, some efforts require more Provident-Developer knowledge than others. This is why we often work with our customers to mentor their developers and designers on the best practices for developing within the Provident platform.
• Points of Customization (POCkets)
Provident (‘POCkets’ as we call them) are strategically placed throughout Provident. Each Point of Customization allows you to make specific changes to your installation of Provident without changing the base code that has been delivered to you. The “Points of Customization” approach allows you to modify Provident to meet your business process while avoiding conflicts with future upgrades and installations.

Provident provides a manageable set of control files, each containing a set of control constants. These control constants allow you to modify how Provident works without writing a stitch of code.
